Our story
A family business
Sagrada Madre began in late 2017 in Argentina, when two brothers set out to craft innovative incense with the highest-quality natural ingredients. It soon became a business that involved the whole family and friends.
Since December 2018 to today, SM has become a company that employs more than 120 families, of whom 50% are women and sole providers for their households.
Sagrada Madre has transformed the incense industry and keeps growing every day, now reaching more than 50 countries around the world.

Raw materials
Most of the flowers, herbs and raw materials used to manufacture our incense are from Argentina. We support local entrepreneurs and indigenous communities.
Training and workshops
We run workshops with qualified permaculture professionals to help our suppliers transition to long-term sustainable production systems in harmony with Mother Earth.
Fair trade
Fair trade at every level—from product suppliers and wages to creating good business opportunities for everyone—has been one of Sagrada Madre's goals.
